Cowhide

Cowhide, as the name suggests, is the term used for the hide removed from a cow. There are many types of cow, which dictates the colour of the hide, although you can buy printed cowhide. Click here to read more about printed cowhides, which are usually not of the highest quality. There are also dyed cowhides, which again are not as good quality as the natural cowhides.

Criollo Cowhides - These are specific to South America.
