Printed Cowhide

Cowhides that have a pattern or colour printed upon them are known as printed or dyed cowhides. These often are not as good quality as natural high quality cowhides. This is due to the fact that the printing and/or dying means that certain underlying imperfections are hidden. This is of course not always the case.
